"Per our agreement with the seller, this gun will not be sold to a resident of Louisiana and/or shipped to Louisiana". What's up with that?
Looking at their other auctions, this restriction also exists. The listor is a Police Supply. Likely these guns are police trade ins of duty or confiscated firearms. A lot of agencies require that any weapons traded in, NOT be resold within their state as part of the terms of sale. I suspect this is the case in this instance.

Ronald12 I am bidding on it now and saintclair won a 1940 parkerized DS recently from this seller after being the high bidder. Will let you know how we rate the seller. I'm at my highest bid, as I agree with you, the pictures are poor.

I e mailed them and asked if they would accept C&R license for this gun because it is C&R eligible. They wrote back saying yes it is C&R eligible but since they didn't list it as C&R in the auction, they would not ship to a C&R holder. How's that for logic?

Some of these dealers have there head you know where. I stopped at this gun shop the last time that I was in Montgomery and it's a really small gun shop, no real collectibles and a lot of black guns.

I inquired of the reason for the restriction, living in Louisiana and having some interest in a Ruger "Six" with the same limitation. He (the GB dealer) responded that he had a deal with a major Louisiana Sherriff's agency that required that any confiscated arms not be resold back into the state. I think this is a state law that misguidedly thinks they reduce the number of "crime" guns in state this way. Stupidity knows no bounds, even in state legislatures.

P.S. With the volume of pretty attractive pieces that he lists with this limitation, it seems it would almost have to be New Orleans area.

Some people who do not like having to interact with other people run businesses. All they want to do is advertise and sell with few words spoken. When I lived in Norfolk, VA area there was a dealer who would not let you look at/hold a gun unless you showed him you had the money to buy it.
It takes all kinds to make the World. The gun business has all kinds.
