I have never found a bargain at a pawnshop, they buy from the desperate for near nothing and mark it up way past its value.Than being said, a quick look at google and you will find what looks to be the same Shotgun sold for $1000 which was below the appraised value.

Here is the Description

Estimate: $1300 - 1900 Steel bead front and flip-up notch rear sights, with claw bases on the rib, Krupp steel and Nitro proofs on the shotgun barrels, assorted proofmarkings on the 7.6x46mm rifle barrel. The shotgun barrels measure 16 gauge, 2 3/4" chambers with extra full chokes. The frame is engraved with scenes of elk and deer, with scrollwork on the frame, locks, hammers and guard, tang mounted selector, trigger guard break lever, and adjustable front trigger. Checkered pistol grip stock, with sling swivels, raised cheekpiece and a cartridge compartment. LOP 13 3/4". BBL: 27 inch solid rib Stock: walnut Gauge: 16ga/8.15mm Finish: blue/casehardened Grips: Serial Number: 601 Condition: Partially refinished, with 95% of the refinished blue on the barrels, with some minor scattered handling marks, nicks and fading overall, and small areas of pitting on the right barrel. The action has been cleaned to a smooth bright gray with a brown patina on the fences and crisp engraving. The wood is very good with a chip absent from the toe and scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.

So if you really really want it, get $1200 in crisp $10 bills and put the stack on the counter and see if he turns it down ,he can only say no,lol
