Not being familiar with the Colt Mustang .380 but owning a GM MK IV Series 80 .380, the question is:

Will a holster that is made for the Colt Mustang .380 fit the GM .380 without issue? Same fit, no slop, etc?

Have been searching for an OWB belt pancake or Don Hume style OT for my '84 GM .380 and except for generic nylon junk a good leather holster for this pistol is rarely seen but the Colt Mustang .380 is easy to find. Most custom holster makers don't have a mold pistol to do the work.

Thanks for any help you can supply or if you have one for sale PM with pics. Forward cant RH preferred. I think a DeSantis Model 2 with body shield was the holster made for the .380 but it had a very short run and impossible to find.

The Mustang barrel is 2.75" and the Gov model is 3.25" so a holster made for a mustang will not fit the Gov .380…the other way around will work. Much like putting a commander model in a GM holster…assuming that all holsters in question a full cover models and not open at the end.
