On the Series 70 marked Gold Cups what year did the serial # change from a 70N prefix to a N70 suffix?

Proofhouse doesn't show the prefix / suffix change for 70N to N70.

Can't vouch for it, but my information indicates that the change from prefix 70N to suffix N70 occurred in 1981 when production reached 70N99999.

I have a 1977 I bought new in 1977 which over the phone Colt said was made in 1977 with a S/N of 70n68xxx. I always understood it was around 1980 or 81 when the number got near or hit 70n99999 also. They made them till 1982-83 time period when the Series80 pistols came out.
