Found a good looking "Blue Python" at a near-by gun shop. It's easily 98%(only tiny spot of the blue rubbed near the end of the barrel). "IF" it has been fired it hasn't been fired much! The grips look new with no blemishs. The serial number is 62038E.

Can anyone tell me the DOB and a reasonable value. The asking price at the shop is $850.

Your looking at 1977 as a DOB and your looking at about the right price, at least in these parts, give or take $50. I'm assuming it has some kind of box and other goodies with it, otherwise I would try for a $100 less.
