For those of you who love the old TV Westerns, here's a book/magazine all about them that I found interesting. 100+ pages covering most of the old shows and many of the stars. 'Gunsmoke', 'Big Valley', 'Rawhide', 'Cheyenne' etc. The title is "The Lone Ranger and all the favorite television Cowboy Heroes".

Cool - I'm addicted to those old TV Westerns - We have to channels on antenna TV here in the Chicago Land that plays these regularly. Right now I can catch The Virginian followed by The Deputy - then The Lone Ranger and ending with Roy Rogers. The deputy is pretty interesting. It stars Henry Fonda, but he usually just starts it off and his Deputy does most of the show. I've never seen it before. On the other channel in the afternoon it starts with Gunsmoke - then Bonanza - and last Big Valley - In the evening back to back episodes of the Rifleman!! On the weekends they throw in Raw Hide and Johnny Yuma and Wanted Dead or Alive and Wagon Train. I spend to much time watching these.

As this refers to TV programs, I will thread drift and advise that the world's best touring car race kicks off in a couple of hours if anyone can/wants to dial in to it: the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 (1000 kilometres/640 miles/161 laps across a small mountain). Starts 10:30 am Eastern Australia time - runs for about 7 hours. Go the Fords! (Apologies - not firearm related.)
