Oberon & Mentallapse....I'm painfully ignorant with these little foreign pistols. I have no idea what a 'side-latch' is. Please elaborate. I simply bought this little guy because its dang near mint. It has a beautiful original finish with deep roll marks, a perfect bore and is tight as a bank vault, shoots great...etc. The only detractor is a grip repair on the Starboard side near the top & very, very faint edge wear. School me!

I put a hundred rounds through my 1908 pocket Hammerless today, shooting my own brew of 3.0gr HP-38 behind 95gr Speer TMJ bullets at both 15 and 25 yards. I was able to keep them consistently inside the circle at 15 yards but oddly, if the circle was bigger my groups opened up to fill the circle!

These photos show my apparatus (I hate chasing brass), as well as my 15-yard targets.

Fun!

Whoa, the thread almost fell off of the grid!
So here's one I just "found" after having misplaced it for a couple months...
I like the London Office pistols especially without the post-WW2 slathering of test proofs.

Notice relatively rare Rampant Colt "rocking horse" standing on an ellipse. Johnny P thinks this was a transition as Colt eliminated the circle on the die before they went to the new completely uncircled Rampant Colt in 1913.
My model M 32 173312 and 380 21969 both have the rocking horse rampant Colt like yours and fits in with these dates. Sorry for the poor picts.

Give it time. It is a rearranging of ourmental and muscle memory. Other forums I belong to have also gone through the turmoil - with more to come. Besides, we need those updates on a magic stump...
