Absolutely gorgeous. If only the big "R" had seen fit to reintroduce it...

The Big R had it right the 1st time on that R51...then screwed the pooch on the 2nd time 'round bring back in 2014.

Now they are in bankruptcy...again

Damn shame that litigation from a mass shooting will close their doors...

Maybe the Reservation Indians will get it going again...it's their 2nd try at buying it too.

Not a Colt, but a very nice Remington Model 51 .380. Made in 1924. These are a lot of fun and great shooters. 32's are much more rare than the .380.

Yet ANOTHER Nice Score Randy...

No less a notable figure than General George S. Patton had relatives obtain a completely reconditioned Remington Model 51 .380 automatic pistol and send it to him sometime early in 1944.

To this day, many authorities consider the R51 to have been one of the best-handling pistols ever designed. Only a relatively few were made and sold from 1918 to discontinuance in 1934.

Even ten years later, second hand R51's were so rare that a much-used unit was obtained by the Remington factory and rebuilt for purchase by Patton's family for the General.

Well it certainly enticed me! First one is a NIB Audley with model number A32 on box. Second one is marked A32/32A which I believe includes Savage 32; Last one is also marked A32/32A but had a spring release fitted that leases the gun with force into your hand. IMO this was a owner modification that was removed.
