I still wonder if there are any records or pictures of shooters using those spiffy looking target barrel guns in matches. Would they have met the rules "center fire" for NRA Bullseye back then? Does anybody know?

The ones that were built before 1911, those are, the '08s, '09s, and '10s are the most desirable on account of the relative scarcity of 'em. There were only a few thousand of 'em made. There is an ongoing list on here that is hoping to account for as many of the survivors as possible.

>>L. to R., 1910 type II, 1922 type III, 1933 type IV.
I have carried the 1933 type IV, just for bleeps & giggles. It was my first .380 model M.
I have also carried my first 1903 .32 just for grins.
All the model Ms were ahead of their time, and have withstood the test of time very well.

Somebody please explain why some images go up sideways and others go the way I want 'em to. Please? This annoys the hell outa me........
