I had my .380 out to the range the other day. It shoots a little high at 15 yards with Herters ball (point of aim was the little tail at the bottom) but it will still get the job done. I carry it often.

Also, I got a new puppy.

PDNY pistols seen here with the Audley Holster. (Model N's not included)

In 1906 the F. H. Audley shop was located at 8 Centrer Market Place,
across from Police PDNY Headquarters, (NYPD)
and it was at this time he starting getting a lot
of exposure to Police equipment.

Audley filed many patents
for various pieces of Police equipment
which he developed and sold to
the New York City Police Officers
that utilized his services.

Thank You for your kind words.
Often wonder if I'm a Colt Accumulator or Badge Accumulator.
I try to find Department Period Correct Badges to go with the Police marked
Model M hammerless here in ei8htland.

You have an outstanding collection of M1903s that were purchased and used by various police departments. The one above this message that belong to the New Britain PD is quite interesting, as it doesn't appear to have been marked on the frame. Presume that you discovered the police connection from a Colt historical letter.

As a retired Connecticut police officer, I have an interest in law enforcement mark pistols. Appreciate you displaying these pistols on this site.

Now the see the initials and the number faded out in the original photo. There are M1903s that were sold to PDs that were never marked on the frame or slide.

I have a M1908, serial 66xx, that according to the historical letter was sold to the New York New Haven & Hartford RR police department, but is devoid of any ownership stampings.
