I recently purchased a Government model .380, it is a very nice little pistol but the thumb safety seems a little to small for me. Does anyone know a company that might make an extended safety?

Brownell's used to sell both a C&S extended safety, and an ambidextrous extended safety for the little Colt.

I don't see them in the current catalog, but you could call them or contact Cylinder & Slide direct.

dfariswheel I found what you are talking about in an old Brownells catalog but could not find them on C&S website. Maybe C&S stopped making them.... At least I know what I'm looking for now, I might find one at a gunshow or on ebay.

I'd try contacting C&S, it's very possible they might have a few left.
