Growing a new Forum - Let\'s all spread the word!
As I noted some time back, both the 1911 and AR-15 already have their own Forums, and it will take some doing (and some interesting discussion) to get everyone to check this one daily. But 100 members is a good start.
Perhaps some reviews of new production Colts would help. Anyone want to brag on a recent acquisition?
News flash - Colt is bringing back the Anaconda - apparently due to S&W's woes they see a hole to fill. Also, the Custom Shop will be bringing out a brand new "issue" 1911A1 full military exactly like the WWII military contract guns. GI widespur hammer, US property marks, no firing pin block, etc.
Also, "Mark655" on the 1911Forum/Colt thread is the General Foreman, Handguns for Colt. I'll try to get him to visit. Col. Colt
