Haven't shot it. Probably never will.
I think you paid a fair price for that beauty. I have one just like it from 1928 (Ser. No. 177xxx). They are great shooters.
If you do decide to shoot it, remember that it takes 38 Colt New Police (.38 S&W) ammo, NOT 38 Special.

Yep. Thanks for the reminder. It looks like it has only been fired a few times. The cylinder ring is amost null! Action is like new. The blueing is dull but there are almost no wear marks. But i guess thats normal for a gun that is 88 years old.
