Order from Numrich, p/n 195420G. Same as side plate screws for Python &Trooper.

FWIW - Any screw I have ever ordered from Numrich looked very well used when it arrived. I recommend Jack First.
My first attempt to obtain shroud screws from JF resulted in a $35 charge and incorrect screws. Numrich screws in my order were new, and cost much less.

I have a 2 inch Colt that I purchased from a LGS for a very low price. the gun was like it just came out of the box. Bluing really nice, mechanics tight, stocks pristine. the only problem was no markings stamped on the barrel, and the front sight did not look right for the year of the revolver. but I do not collect, and when I pointed this out to owner of the storehe was a little red in the face. Apparently he took the gun in on a trade and thought he was getting a deal. the gun was a sock drawer gun belonging to someone's father. I did not know how much the LGS had in the gun so I threw out a number and the owner said OK. Upon further inspection I noticed 3 small screws around the frame by the hammer. Everything on the gun is neat and tidy so I would suspect that there a hammer shroud on the gun at one time. Whoever took it off put the 3 screws back. So, all I need is to find a Colt hammer shroud and I am good to go. The little gun itself shoots like a dream

Colt offered the hammer shroud as an aftermarket kit in the 1950s for the whopping sum of $5.50. As the attached pic shows, installation does require drilling three holes in the frame. The factory shrouds show up on Ebay occasionally. (there is one up for auction right now) They have been selling for north of $150 without the box and hardware. The price of complete kits appears to be closing in on what one would expect to pay for the gun itself.
