And the same to you on July 14 - Bastille Day!
Thanks a lot Mustango. I appreciate so much you know we'll have also in some respect our own "Independance day" on July 14th. It is interesting and funny to notice that Marquis De Lafayette, who helpt Mr. Washington and the US insurgents to beat the British troops and install the first modern republic, was a member of the French aristocratie whose king was Louis XVI. The very same king has been unable to adopt a more democratic regime in France, hence the 1789 revolution with the storming of the Bastille fortress and jail on July 14th, turning point for the end of the French monarchy ... Failing to understand that the times were changing (Hi Bob Dylan), Louis XVI was beheaded on January 21st 1793 and we became the 2nd modern republic.
Cheers.
