Before bidding I'd ask for better pics. My 1st instinct is that it's not a refinish but I'd want better pics to confirm. BTW: The stocks are not correct to the gun. You can probably pick up some originals for $100 if your patient. I've seen them go for as much as $200 so bid accordingly.

I feel the 50's models are the cream of the Pythons. I had and shot a 1956 and the action was so sweet. I currently have no Pythons but if a 2-digit comes up for sale I may have to scoop it up. I know where qty 6 2-digits are and they're in Oklahoma. All 6 of them are unfired and boxed.

Did you know that the 1 and 2 digit guns came in a yellow/black box?

FYI, I recently sold my 1956 gun for $1200 and it had a bastard front sight.
