Hello everyone , new to the forum . Just picked up a 1977 colt 357 trooper mk 3 , it's my first revolver . Came to this site to learn how to maintain and care for it . So I can hand it down to my son . And hopefully find some people in my area that knows something about revolvers . I already ran into a small issue , nothing big but please feel free to give me any tips or info . Thanx and can't wait to start learning about this fine revolver .

Hello.... i am just up the road on OKI ,NC Welcome to the forum lots of great people here. As for caring for the revolver....shoot it clean it repeat. What issue have you run into and what is the condtion of the revolver?

Just left Myrtle Beach after a week. The Beaver Bar was jumping Wednesday !!
I think a good cleaning and shooting is in order. I have cleaned all my Colts ,polished with a good car wax and shoot often.

Thanx for the welcome , I thought when I cleaned and oiled all would be better . I guess I missed something . No metal looks damaged . Maybe some grease or frog lube ???
