Hello Colt fans!
I am kolchaka127 from Texas. I was a Class 3 Dealer for many years specializing in Colt M16A1's and M16A2's. That was a former life. Now I collect Colt Woodsman pistols. I recently picked up a Match Target 2nd Series. Am looking to sell/trade the rig which came with it - a Heiser holster and belt rig. Tooled leather floral pattern - nice, just not my style. I like smooth leather and am having a custom rig made with lined flap holster, 2 mag pouch and Colt buckle. I also ordered a nice wood presentation box. Need a couple factory mags and some nice target walnut grips.

Cost of Custom Rig for Woodsman Match Target 2nd Series

Got my custom rig (flap holster, mag pouch and belt) for my Match Target Woodsman 2nd Series 4.5" barrel today - and I am tickled.

Maker used premium thick leather and excellent heavy stitching and overall work. Has brass Winchester 12 gauge rim on keeper - cute. Rivets are flush where used. Open bottom which should allow draining and air circulation to prevent oxidation.Lined with smooth soft deer suede leather to prevent scratching. No exposed rivets inside. Nice Colt oval brass buckle and brass rivets. One of a kind custom rig built to my specs.

Highly recommend maker. Contact me for his referral.

Will try to post photos below. Happy, Happy, Happy!

Welcome!Wow much for the rig?
Maker charging like $130-140 for flap holster, 2 mag pouch & belt with an oval Colt buckle. Will post how it turns out.

I take it that is your last name. Ain't a whole lot of us - and that's good. My family originally came from TN, and before that Scotland and France, so they say. Now we are pretty much a Texas crowd, from West Texas, Baylor County, Seymour. Ranchers.
I met a Scot named Campbell a while back and told him I was Scottish. He laughed and said "You got some Norman blood in you." Yes, a wee bit. Been a Colt fan forever, M16's in the past. Now, I'm into Colt Woodsman pistols. Please let me know if you run into magazines for them. Ebay prices are out of touch. Thanks.
