Been lurking for a few months trying to get a feel for Python pricing and general information. I've wanted a Python since I first laid eyes on one in the late 60's. Seems like when I had the money for a nice used one, I couldn't find one. When I'd come across one I liked I didn't have the money. Well, the planets aligned today and I bought a 1978, 6", royal blue Python that while lacking the original box, is in like new condition. Bluing is spectacular, lock up is tight as a drum. Found it in an estate sale. Pretty sure it's been a safe queen for the past 35 years. I've bought a fair number (shitload) of weapons in my lifetime, but this feels like something special.
