I have been a Colt auto guy for some time now but got bit by the Colt revolver bug real bad. I bought my first Python brand new when I was about 20 and being the stupid kid that I was I sold it thinking autos were the cats meow. (Big mistake, I should kept it). I’ve been watching Colt revolver prices skyrocket in the past couple of years so I decided that I better get a Python now before I can’t afford it anymore. I think I called every gun store and pawn shop in the Denver area and found exactly 4. Where did they all go?? One out of the four one was affordable. I found a 6” nickel Python S/N K67XXX that I would say is 95% cosmetically, 99.9% mechanically and smooth as silk. The only problem is it was scoped at one time and was missing the rear sight. I talked the guy down from $850 to $750 and bought it. Ordered the rear sight assembly from Numrich for $36. Should I be aware of any thing putting the rear sight on? It looks to be pretty strait forward. I can’t wait to get the parts and hit the range.
I look forward to learning a lot from you guys. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
