Are these Type 2 eagle grips used from around 1882-1891? THANKS ColtEagleTransitionandEaglelessGrips-2008R6cfa.jpg IMG_0350.JPG IMG_0351.JPG IMG_0352.JPG IMG_0353.JPG . PS why do pictures taken with my I phone get listed only by number and upside down? THANKS

No, they are reproductions taken from a mold of 3rd gen. eagle stocks. Note the injection spot and the address on the inside. They look great, however.

Anytime you see the little air holes as seen on the back of the grip you pictured it is a reproduction. Colt grips are solid with no air bubble holes.
