good afternoon the snow storm has started , sorry i live in new york , a gentleman wants to sell a blue 85-90 % blue 69x,xxx wood grips with nickeled horsie , 6 inch barrel asking $310 how the price seems alittle high, what are these old war horse going for ??
your help and assistance is required and greatly appreciated

Seems about $60 too high, in that condition. Maybe for your area it's a good price, haven't been to any gun shows "Up Nawth".

I would agree that the asking price seems a little high for an O.P. with that % of finish. On the other hand, keep in mind that the internals are the same as the later Python, though not as finely honed. I picked up a 5 in. last year, 92-95% blue, made in 1945 with pre-war markings, for $300. It's almost like shooting a fixed sight Python. Not quite as smooth or light, but not bad. If the O.P. you're looking at is mechanically o.k., offer less and dicker from there. Good luck-Asa
