#3 & #4. These are going to be hardest to value I think. I know what I paid for them but I understand that doesn’t mean that’s what they are worth or value. 3rd Gen pair. I am first and only owner. Apparently someone ordered these with pretty much every custom option you can select on custom selection sheet and it took 5-7years to receive. I was/am first to take them out of plastic and only one who has held them outside colt factory. Cylinders unturned etc. They do not search on colt serial number search site yet. Should I get colt letters first? How can I get full selection of what exactly was chosen for these?

I noticed before how the dates and rampant seem to fade (buff). I just thought maybe error when machine pressed? Not sure about address, and grips could be custom made by other? Do all factory grips have the medallion? I have not attempted to take grips off to check under cause don’t want to damage. Thoughts? Should I? Thanks for response.
The modern pair are likely worth $6 to $7K per gun. May be more depending on who and at what level the guns were engraved. Looks, from what I can see, to be a solid "C" level of engraving and I am guessing journeyman not master. But that will also require much better photos (professional photos if you can't do it yourself) and more importantly Archives letters. Just call Archives and get what you don't have for letters, expedited. Well worth the extra $ IMO.
RIA guns? Very likely you'll be lucky to get out of them what you put in. Although you never know who is trolling the forum here at any given moment. Not impossible
Only one making money on a quick flip with RIA is RIA.
Unless you are very lucky RIA is the place for the big dollar guns. More exposure with people willing to spend the money. If they were mine (and I have some like them) and I wanted to get the $ back out of them, I would letter all of them and then call RIA. You might have some leverage with RIA reselling past auction guns and having the four. Worth asking about a cut on the commission. They actually do that on occasion.
