Hey Gunnar,

A heads up for you. The forum doesn't allow posting "guns for sale" outside the for sale forum. You need 50 posted before being allowed to use that forum.

That said I didn't notice until one of your comments that the Sheriff's model had the factory extended grip. Very rare bird there. You might be a little light on that one.

Good luck!

Good to know and thanks for insight. I didn’t think I was selling guns with my post, I was simply stating what they would be listed at for general information. There is all sorts of rare and different things about this gun!
This thread feels a lot like free advertising for a sale. Will let the mods decide if they agree.

Hahaha, Free advertising? All I was asking was to help put a value/price on my guns so I could list them in appropriate location. I have read multiple threads how this has helped other people in same boat proceed. If anything it’s “free education”

My bad, the whole point was to get a value to price the guns… I thought y’all would be interested at what I settled on final price.
You weren't the first guy over the weekend doing the same. Unusual here.

The RIA Pictures show the gun looking a bit better due to be photo shopped a bit but you can still see the patent mark is very faint at the bottom. The gun has many small indications of being refinished and the overall just not crisp look it should have. The backstrap fit is way off. This may be a strike gun but it still looks wrong. The good thing is it's the least valuable of the 4 guns.
Phone camera no bueno.

Not sure.
Rock Island auctions would get the highest price. Not sure if that would offset their higher fees or not. Having owned them less than two years it's unlikely selling them will net any different results. I don't know about these non - usable third generation engraved guns or how much the engraved first gen one is going to do. It will be interesting I guess. Might be hard on you if you lose a lot of cash.
Thanks for info!
I am with COKid on this one. It says refinished all over it. Gunbroker would do just as good for it. RIA kills you with fees on both ends.
Thanks for input
He's a Premium Member . 50 post rule doesn't apply .

That said , sale ads are to be placed in the Classifieds area only .
