Wonderful is the right word! I always knew this was an intense process, but to read the details and see the step-by-step building is truly enlightening. Imagine such mass produced quality back then even. There didn't appear to be any shortcuts to building Colts for America's finest.
I love Colt's...unfortunately (it hurts to talk about it)..I got rid of a Colt Series 70 .45 satin nickel finish with factory Colt embossed Pachmyer grips......I really want that pistol back....UGH!!! Been look at the new MARSOC .45 and I want one bad....a least I have my 6920 to hug on!!!
