How \'bout commemoratives or special editons?

I've only got one, a Montana Territorial Centennial Frontier Scout, unfired, uncocked and with all the original papers (even the warranty card) and the original pricetag (the ridiculously outrageous amount of $75.00!!) still attatched to the trigger guard.

Great pic--thanks! That Frontier Scout is a beauty as well as a genuine collector's item.

I have very few limited production Colts, all from about ten years ago when IIRC both Colt's and S&W were producing so many special items that we joked about the "gun of the month club." One such Colt is the "Super Lite Commander," a polished blue Lightweight Commander Model in .38 Super (but my wife kids me that it sounds like a brand of beer
). Another is the "Custom Carry Commander," a .45 Lightweight, with stainless slide, nickel frame, and features such as a wide grip safety.

I really enjoy guns like this and only wish I had more of them. Maybe when I win the lottery ....
