So what shocks should this gun have? Double diamond black walnut?
I don't have enought expertise with Mod O pistols to discern for sure. It appears to be a Govt. Model.

OK. I took a more careful look. A1 arched mainspring housing, A1 frame with relived finger cuts. Early post war that should be wearing Coltwoods? The left side stampings look earlier than post war. 1941 commercial finish military?
