I don't know about the new ones, but I love my old model!
My wife stole my Pocketlite and loves to shoot it and shoots it well. I still have my 380 Govt.
The new Mustangs list MSRP at $769 and are identical to early models.
Here is my wifes' gun (snif..I still miss it).

i love my mustang , older model. went out today and ran about 50-60 rounds of different kind & brands of ammo to check for reliability and function.
It preformed like a champ.it shot all the ammo i fed it
I personally think the government models are the best of the Mustangs. Pocketlite's are pretty good, but my least favorite of the Mustang field. They shoot well.
I have a newer mustang and love it. Shoots very well. Prices are all over the place for the new ones. Should be able to get a new one for 750-800. Sometimes you can get a Better deal on GB.
Everyone complains about the price , but a couple of weeks ago I posted a link for a new one on gunbroker, buy now for $659. Seems a lot of people like to complain , or pay inflated prices for both old and new issue ones. But I digress, The new ones are near perfect everyday carry pistols. Lightweight ,reliable and accurate. Colt should be cranking these out like crazy ,as well as adding to the 380 lineup, not with a polymer version that adds nothing to the market, but with all steel and lightweight Government versions.
