I didn\'t get the 2.5\" Python but I did get this!

Although I lost out on the deal for the 2.5" Python I had wanted-I did score in getting this Smith & Wesson, Pre-Model 19, .357 Combat Magnum(1956 vintage)!:

Colt38, Very, Very nice. The model 19 has always been a favorite....alone with the Python, DB, Boa's...well you get the point. Maybe next time on the 2.5" /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Hey Colt38, that's a sweet Smith. Here's it's little brother, my Model 19-3 I picked up recently. It's 1969 vintage. These are awesome revolvers in my opinion, SHOO

Shoodaddy:

That is an extremely nice Model 19-3 that you have there! Congratulations! I really like the target grips! Were these on the M19-3, whenever you bought it-or, did you add them to your revolver afterwards?

Thanks for your compliment on my Pre 19 Combat Magnum!

Hi again Colt38, This is exactly how I bought the gun. Just happened that I shot it a few hours ago along with several others and also with my Model 15 S&W. Both are accurate, great shooters. They are both in fantastic shape too, but I have to shoot them ! Thanks for the kind words, Shoo
