It sure is, but probably more sought after, at least to me.

Isn't that Von Lengerke company the one in Chicago that catered to the mob?

I bid $260 hoping that I would get it. Why the extra areas for slides? Conversion units? 38? Any idea on the year of this case? Also there are two holes in the lower inside that may have been for a label - any ideas of the label/badge content? 1905 1426 t (800x600).jpg

It does appear that this case was meant for 1911's, but I wanted it to see if either of two pistols, a Model 1905 45acp #1426 or a Model 1902 Military #34950 38acp, that shipped to Von Lengerke and Antoine, Chicago in 1906 and 1912 would fit.
