I just got the color book yesterday and do not know anything about these guns- I thought it was very interesting and wanted to share. Carol Watson's Orange Coast Auctions on 1/25/14 lot 474, 475 and 542. Everything noted below is from the auction book.
Lot 474 Colt semi-auto shotgun (12 ga 26"). #1 of 5300- mfg'd for Colt by Franchi. Pictured on pg 193 of "Colt and Its Collectors" put out by the Colt Collectors Assn.
Lot 475- Colt Prototype O/U Shotgun (12 ga 30"). Serial #1- page 189 of same book. engraved and gold inlaid for Col. T.E. Bass (Manager of Colt Company's European Sales Division)
Lot 542- Colt Sharps Single Shot Pre-Production Prototype Rifle (cal unknown). Thought to be made with the help of Sauer-(many parts noted as made in Germany)
