IMHO - they should have recalled all those Gen 3 - very poor nickel plating adhesion. That and i don't understand why they did it.. they originals were blued / brass Trigger guard and/or backstrap. Logically you would think they would stick to that if its a true reproduction / series continuation.

This nickle is circa 1880s -

in the Grand scheme of things it holding up better after over 120 + years.

I think you will find that it was Silver plating.

really? Every source i came accross stated it was nickle. Either way should not be flacking.
