Just a quick intro.
I am interested in old west era guns and have just bought an incomplete 1877.
It is missing pretty much most of its internals. I know most folks say that these are delicate guns that most gunsmiths wont touch but I want to give it a go.
Currently I am on the hunt for a hand for a 38 cal revolver.

I don’t know if he is still in the business, but the brother of one of the best gunsmiths on antique Colts David Lanera,used to do 1877s repair and allegedly had a lot of parts also. I‘m sorry I don’t have any info about where he is,
