Looks like they used 1860 army grip frame. Guys sometimes did that years ago. But dont know if that was ever a factory option.

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but that looks much larger than an Army gripframe.

Could be the picture...

Hi Weagle99,

I was looking at a custom shop gun, basically new in the CS box, that had oversize grips. They were the 1860 Army pattern, so there were limited CS production of oversized grips. Whether this one qualifies or not would require a Colt letter to confirm I would think.

Also, the seller said "It has beautiful stag grips with gold colt logos."

I didn't see any Colt "Logos" on the grips... may be my old eyes missed them??? Bob Best

I'd like to know what the seller's basis is for the statement that it's "factory".

And where are the case colors on the frame?

More special order options? Yea.
