I don't want to make false charges, but years ago one of the respected Colt collectors told me that Francolini when he was with Colt or shortly there after got into some real trouble on drug charges. He lost his FFL and his wife had to apply for one so he could receive and send guns. Does anyone know if this is a legitimate story.

Hard to believe it is the same guy. Doubt it. But he would be 72 now by the dates in the article

Just a F.Y.I...I just re-listed this gun on Gun Broker, Item #799353658. I just want to say thanks for all your help and input. The hunt for Mr. Francolini goes on.
