I have been to the Tipton show many times. I bought this at Tipton.


It dates to 1917. The slide has been replaced, it is from around 1919 or 1920. The stocks are WW2 vintage. The property mark has been removed. I bought it at a good price and I wanted a shooter type. Tipton is good show, one never knows what might walk through the door for sale.

My S70 re-pro ! It's my carry gun and has had the "Reliabilty Carry Package" (and new trigger) by Bob Rodgers

Colt S70. Bobbed hammer, adjustable trigger, S&W adjustable sights, The rest is USGI.
