hi!last week i went to the gun show,and saw a lightweight officer with box.i believe its from the 70s not sure or remimber what year it was .the dealer is asking 600 cash.is these a rare gun? i search the forum for lightweight officer but cant find one,i like it for the size and weight for carry,thanks in advance.

Here is a discription taken for my guntracker softwhere:
.45 ACP cal. only, 3¬Ω in. barrel, 34 oz., 6 shot mag., short version of the Government Model. Mfg. 1985-disc.
Similar to Officer´s ACP, except has alloy frame and weighs 24 oz. Mfg. 1986-97.
It it my favorit carry gun ! $600.00 would be a middle of the road price for this gun . $500 bargian to $700 premium
and remember condition is everything!
