Hello.
I am considering buying a 1902 Philippine.
Are the markings and grips in the below photo correct original?
Thanks.

The 1902 Philippine looks correct to me also! The finish is one of the nicest I have seen. Most show finish wear from use and yours may not have been issued or very well taked care of. Very Nice!!

I did notice someone attempted to take the screw out on the right side not knowing it is a Left Hand thread. You can see where they put a lot of pressure on the slot and buggered it a little. This is common.

I'm not an expert either but, and it may just be the image, the color looks odd and i'd like to see some fire blue on the trigger. I'd also like to see both sides of the whole gun. If it's good, and it probably is, it's an excellant example of a rare military 1902 revolver.

What's the status of this? Are more photographs available?

If you did not purchase this one, provided that other photographs do not suggest a refinish, is providing information relative to this one a possibility, as this might be of interest to others on this forum?
