They are Colt type for the Model 1911 as well as the early Government Model. Right stock is 15 row while left stock appears to be 13 row checkering.

Thanks for the replies,
Do you think that these would have shipped as a pair with the difference in the number of rows, or are each from a different era?

In many cases, it might be difficult to determine what stocks originally shipped on a Pistol that is about 100 years old.

Some believe the 13 Row COLT (vs Remington UMC) stocks started in 1918, and that the 15 Row stocks continued to be shipped on early 1918 Pistols.

Some also believe there is evidence of high condition COLT M1911 1918 Pistols ,...presumably with original Stocks, that have (shipped with) mixed 13 and 15 Row COLT Stocks. ?
