Manufacture date and opinions

Looking at a Colt M1991A1 Stainless Steel Compact .45. Serial number is CP38842 not listed on the Colt web sight search. Trying to determine manufacture date and what the difference is between this gun and a Colt Officers .45.,and value estimate. Can anyone help?
