Model 1908 Hammerless .380 Type II List

Here's the list I started to try and pull together a count of how many of the 6,250 barrel bushing .380 guns manufactured from 1908 to 1910 are known to exist today. Please feel free to match your own guns or those you know about with the list below and contribute new entries, either by a reply or a PM. I won't make any attempt to document these other than by the serials below. Thanks to those of you already who have generously sent info.

Suggestions are welcome as to how to best present this information. I think it's interesting that nearly half of those known are in the range of 1-1250. There must be MANY more to find!

Thanks guys, I added 6139 and 6156 as well as 224, which I had missed previously in the Got Hammerless thread. Up to 49 now.

I saw that I messed up the distribution - only 2 guns in the 1251-2500 range and six in the 2501-3750 range, this has been fixed now.

Added #87 and gleaned #5168 off the site today... up to 51 total.

Ei8ht is still the undisputed 1908 Hammerless BB champion of the world, but mentallapse is running a very strong second with some really nice guns.
A slight shift in the force...

I recently passed all my barrel bushing 380 hammerless
but 8 to another well known accumulator on the list.
So the numbers remain the same, only the owners have changed.

You're missing several very low numbers that were either discussed on this forum, sold recently, or both:

Serial no. 55 - discussed in the thread linked below (post #32 forward):
http://www.coltforum.com/forums/colt-semiauto-pistols/83418-gun-show-goodie-3-digit-1908-380-a-4.html

Serial no. 62 - sold a couple months ago:
https://www.proxibid.com/aspr/C-Early-2-Digit-62-Colt-Model-1908-Hammerless-Pocket-Automatic-Pistol/38473307/LotDetail.asp?lid=38473307&rts=/asp/searchadvanced_i.asp#searchid=0&type=lot&search=colt+1908&sort=relevance&view=gallery&length=25&start=1&refine=#topoflot

Serial no. 95 - sold on Gunbroker in 2014 and discussed in post #32 of the same thread linked in no. 55 above.

Serial no. 117 - sold on AuctionArms by JacktheDog about 4 years ago, can't recall exactly.

Serial no. 673 - sold on Gunbroker a few years back.

I know of others, but don't have the info at my fingertips just now.

Did you go to Sam Liskers Site “coltautos.com” he has some early ones there.
Yes I did, that's where I found #869 and #870

I have 21549.
Thanks Hogleg, if it has a barrel bushing then it's a .32 cal as the .380s are serials 6251 and under. I'm sure ei8ht would like to see a picture of it on the Got Hammerless thread.
