chaos, those are sure nice guns. Yours set up for PPC? I read a test that one of the gun magazines did several years ago on a standard ELITE IX. The groups they reported seemed uninmpressive to me. With that KART barrel and bushing in yours, I'd bet accuracy would be very very good. I used a gunsmith fit KART barrel years ago. Everything about it had to be fitted. Very time consuming, but it sure did shoot once it was done. I admit to being a fan of the 9MM 1911s. None of my current 9MM 1911s,(4), are Colts but I have owned 9MM Colts in the past. I think you'll really enjoy shooting yours...

Thank you. I had a kimber gold match II that I traded away for my 6" Python. I didn't want to give it up, but the deal was not going to happen unless I parted with it. I like my Python, but LOVED my Kimber. I happened upon this to replace it, and hope that it is up to the task as the Gold Match II was beyond accurate.
The guy I bought it from said his friend used it in PPC matches and won a couple of them. Not calling the guy a liar but I was after the gun, not it's history. I rarely believe any gun story these days, even though it is fun listening to them. Peters Cutoms did the work on it, and they have a good reputation, I did verify that much. I am going to dump a few mags through it within the hour and should have an idea of how it runs.
