Hello. I traded for this python yesterday. It is a 1971 6" nickel. Only had a few rounds down the pipe. It is in nearly perfect condition but with no box. I traded a boxed '94 king cobra and a '80 trooper mk3 in 22 mag with no box. What value would u put on this python?

Very nice. Congratulations. Finally got to shoot my first and only Python yesterday and it was a blast, so to speak. It definitely lived up to the hype on trigger and accuracy. Hope yours will as well. Enjoy.

You can check GunBroker.com for completed sales.

There is one for sale right now that is similar to yours:

Colt Python 6" Nickel 357 LNIB COLT : Revolvers at GunBroker.com

I don't know the seller.

There are many others currently for sale:

Rifles, Shotguns and Handguns for Sale - Buy Handguns, Rifles, and Shotguns Online at GunBroker.com

I don't know how you would tell if any of these have been refinished or not.

Value of that python is one king cobra + 22 mag . I looked at all 3 on GB last night for hours - you both did good . You're both happy , that's bottom line . You're an awesome cleaner and photographer, Beave. Also , Sweet grips on that snake !
