Just this picked this up today. I just noticed a problem with the gun. I am not a expert but there is a plate with a screw just abovet he trigger. The plate is not perfectly smooth with the frame and when you close the cylinder it makes slight marks on it. Is this and easy fix or should I send to my gunsmith? You can see the extra slight ring on the cylinder in the pic. Other that that the gun is in perfect shape for being 32 years old.

Check the screw that's between the trigger and cylinder, sometimes they will loosen up slightly and cause this to occur.Make sure that you have the right size screwdriver tip so that you don't damage the screw when tightening it.I hope that this helps.Welcome to the forum and that's a super looking Python.D*
