Hey I am about to purchase a gun from a friend and for some reason I cannot find any information on it. He said its a Colt .380 Series 90 but I cannot find this gun anywhere. He said it's worth around 700 dollars, if that helps. I know its silve r in color and has black grips.

Sounds like a Colt Pony, to me. 25th AE BBGV says it's worth 495 in 100% NIB, 350 for 98%, and 295 for 95%. Even though there's no way the Blue Book can keep up with current pricing, 700 sounds way high for a Pony S90.

"Friend".....are you sure? I wouldnt pay 700 for ANY Colt .380....except a LNIB 99% 1908. All the .380 govts., mustangs, pocketlites, ponies, in my area run 300-500 bucks.....and at 500 it better be pretty doggone nice.

Good luck with that find, your gonna need it.

700.00 seems a bit high, but those prices will be here sooner than later.

This is the Colt Pony Series 90.
It's a double action-only, bobbed hammer, 6 shot, brushed stainless steel.
It was made from 1997 to 2000 when Colt discontinued many pistols.

Price for a 100% new in the box gun is around $550.
