Need help determining value of Colt Defender 1911

I have a Colt Defender that I use as a daily carry gun. I like this gun very much, but I am kinda OCD when it comes to blemishes and scratches. This gun has normal carry wear (or less) for a gun that was made in 2007 but I am desiring a two-tone pistol like the Kimber Crimson Trace Ultra Carry pistol. I am thinking of selling or trading this gun, or sending this gun in to be refinished and the newer style beaver tail grip safety installed. To that though, I would be forced to sell my Ruger SR1911 to fund the upgrades. What do you all feel is a fair asking price for all the stuff pictured below?

If you desire a Kimber, just get it. But that Colt is gorgeous! A little TLC would make it primo. But your choice. :)
I am trying to find someone local to refinish this gun, as I do not want to ship it off for weeks because this is my EDC gun.
I would stick with the Colt if it has always been reliable for you.
Kimbers are nice, but I have read many posts from Kimber owners complaining about them being picky with ammo and feeding.

Good advice. It really looks great just as is.
I sold my 3" Kimber to buy my Defender, the Colt is the best 3" 1911 out there
I just sold a Defender at a gun show for $700 and it had one mag...I know I could have got more but I wanted a STI that I could buy the same day. With all you are showing, I would hold out for 900.
I bought mine new in 1997 for 625 so I still did OK. Good luck
