I have a revolver that is part of my great uncles estate. I'm trying to figure out exactly what it is and the fair market value.

All I know is it is a Colt Official Police .38 S&W special.

Looks like a late production Official Police. Nice nickel job. If the nickel is factory, it could be worth a couple hundred buscks (350-350 in my opinion. I buy and sell Colt OP's all the time, but those are usually blued.

Can you post a serial number so we can get year of manufacture?

Looks to be a 1950 model from the serial number.
