I just discovered this Smith & Wesson Model 39-2(Circa 1971)and, I hope that you guy's will enjoy the following pictures? Please give me your opinions of this gun?:

Nice looking gun, Flat carry ,single stack, I had and carried one for years. Had the 'ambi' safety (I"m left handed) w/o rear blade.
Your looks in very good shape/condition, should be in a blue two piece box and come with a spare mag.

I once had one of our armorers/firearms instructors tell me that I had it backwards when I gave him my Smith 469 for inspection/approval-to-carry. He said you buy Smith revolvers and Colt autos. We are still good friends even though I don't really agree with him on that point.

I fired one of those Smiths when they first came out and I liked it, especially the curved backstrap. You have a nice one,
