Found a 3 inch Python Friday at Hyatt in Charlotte that spoke to me. It was originally bought new on 4-18-2022 for 400.00 more than I paid. I’ve bought a set of gray Colt Combat Elite grips off eBay for it. But I had these jay scott grips faux stag in my box that fit perfectly. Prefer the smaller grips than those oversized target grips. Will shoot it this afternoon.

Well, just put 60 rds of my .38 handloads through it, all on steel, all offhand double action, 50 jacketed and 10 full wc. I do not like the view through the rear sight at all, too much crap going on. It will get replaced with a cleaner looking Eliason. But more seriously I am afraid that my barrel isn’t fully clocked. I will need to get my bench set up, bags and paper targets and shoot it SA to verify it. Felt high right on my 30 yd steel. Rear sight is dead center. Up close seems poa=poi. And the ouchy trigger needs work. Have no problem with the trigger pull, a little stacking right before it breaks but its acceptable. A wider smooth trigger would reduce all of that making it easier to pull. Not a magnum ammo guy but I do have .38 Critical Defence Plus P for my Jframe that I’ll try next time I shoot it.
