I am planning on a brand new SAA. What does any body think about the newest production? I will shoot it. I understand they have gone back to a 2nd generation type cylinder bushing? Are they nice?

I think I've seen that the "new"SAAs are priced around $1700(+ or -) and I guess this depends on the finish, options etc. I have not even seen one,let me make that clear.

If you are sincere in "shooting it",the gun will loose a great deal of value to the collectors,or "speculators", as I prefer to label them; as first purchaser, you will bear the loss,if you decide to sell it "soon. While you can order what you want,if Colt offers it,IMO you would be better off buying a "proven" Second Generation for approximately the same price, that should be in the 95% range,at least, for $1700 or so.It will already be "shot and turned" and the value will only rise if kept nice.
